A diagnostic unit for testing, adjusting and evaluating the condition of control valves used in the brake systems of railway carriages and locomotives. [The unit reconstructs volumes and pressures prevailing in the pneumatic circuits of the carriage brakes to produce testing conditions as identical as possible with those in which a carriage assembly operates.]

For diagnosing of:

• brake components and assemblies (from all leading European manufacturers, particularly Knorr-Bremse, Oerlikon, Wabco, etc.) removed from railway carriages (in workshop conditions)

Intended for:

• repairers of railway rolling stock
• companies having their own railway rolling stock and workshops

• check the condition and adjust brake assemblies for railway carriages under repair or being upgraded
• verify the condition of brake components of in-service railway carriages during overhauls and after routine maintenance

Design:

All the assemblies of STADIAG ZRD-708ST are integrated into a metal housing that is powder coated, which contains air reservoirs and necessary pneumatic circuits. A pneumatic module with electronic control system is built into the unit.
